DOWNTOWN

Downtown Toronto is a buzzing area filled with skyscrapers, restaurants, nightlife, and an eclectic mix of neighbourhoods. It’s also home to iconic attractions like the CN Tower, St. Lawrence Market, and the Royal Ontario Museum, with exhibits on natural history. Bloor Street is an upscale shopping area, and the Eaton Centre is a huge, multistory mall. On the lake, the Harbourfront area has parks and cultural venues.

Area: 16.6 km²

Province: Ontario

Yonge Street starts at Lake Ontario and ends close to Lake Simcoe. The stretch from Lake Ontario to Bloor Street is probably the most popular part of this street. It is still possible to see buildings and office towers build over 100 years ago as well as plenty of modern structures.

Located entirely within the district of Old Toronto, it is approximately 16.6 square kilometres in area, bounded by Bloor Street to the northeast and Dupont Street to the northwest, Lake Ontario to the south, the Don Valley to the east, and Bathurst Street to the west.

Bridle Path, Yorks Mills and Sunnybrook

Part of what is known as the Millionaire's Mile, the neighborhood trinity of Bridle Path, York Mills and Sunnybrook on the northern end of central Toronto is often associated with large lots, multimillion-dollar mansions and the region's biggest names.
